The Lessons We Learn

So currently I am working on five…no make that 6…wait…7 projects that have concurrent deadlines….??!!! Sometimes I stay up until 6am knowing I have to be at my day job at 10am. For the most part my normal bed time is at 3am. But even though I am sleep deprived and probably malnourished, I know my efforts will bring something greater. Back to the matter, so I have these multiple projects and I am learning a great deal about myself as well as what future steps I need to take to ensure progress with my business and clients. Time management is crucial to success and we all must learn that at sometime or another. I came to the realization (which I’m sure many of you know) that between Time and Money you need an abundance of at least one when working on strict deadlines. If you have plenty of Time with little to no Money, then like me (just not right now…lol), you can work on projects and eventually get them done with hiring anyone to help. Now if that same deadline is cut short by a week or two then you definitely want to have some capital to possible sub-contract the work to people. My motto for 2008 is “work smarter not harder” so I am opening my mind and observing everything that is happening.
